Reservation night train Budapest Bucharest

Hi everyone,

 

I’d like to take the overnight train departing from Budapest on 23/08/2023 at 19h10 and arriving at Bucharest on 24/08/2023 at 11h19. I’ve tried booking the journey online through interrail website but it looks like I can only get the tickets delivered by mail. I’ve tried to book the journey directly on OBB and DB websites but I couldn’t go through with the reservation. Any thoughts or suggestions on a way to book this train and get e-tickets ?

You can only book online the one leaving at 22:45 as it comes from Vienna. Use tickets.oebb.at : add Interrail/Eurail as a discount and select one-way tickets.

To book the 19:10 train : you can try at ticket counters in Switzerland, Germany and some other countries, they should be able to help :)

Possibly, these night trains can also be booked at an SNCF ticket office.

Please ask questions in the community and not via a private message. That's the quickest way to get a response. I don't work for Eurail/Interrail.
