Do you know, if it is possible if we are travelling with a „FIP International Reduced Rate card”

FIP in France has specific tickets and reservations. With the FIP Reduced Rate card, you'll need a ticket that will also come with an included reservation. Your employer (or the department that supplies the FIP card) should be able to give information about how and where to get tickets for it. For France, you can also call SNCF.

Add as many details as possible, by providing details you’ll make it easier for others to reply.

Without knowing at least the train company it is impossible to answer that.

Mention at least route, date and departure time to narrow down the options.

Regular TGV tickets already include a reservation. TGV pass reservations can only be used with a pass. However, you should be able to get a refund.
