Reserving Multiple Seats with Rail Provider

Me and a few friends are going interrailing, we want to sit together on train journeys so thought it would be better to book just the seat reservation separately through the Train Operators website.

In this case we are using OBB, however when I select 3 seat reservations it only asks for one name and says it has to match the name on the ticket. However we have booked tickets separately/ using an Interrail pass.

Does anyone know if it will be a problem if we book the 3 seat reservations under one name when we all have separate tickets?

Thanks!

That's no problem at all.

Traditionally, reservations and tickets don't have any name; this only changed for digitalisation. Some railways now issue tickets and reservations with just one name on them, some with all names (and some still without: in Norway). So just one name is totally fine.
