We are new to Eurorail using a mobile app or the website. We purchased two Global passes (15 days over 2 months) which are meant to be linked in the Trip plan.
We have been able to reserve seats for Brussels to London (Eurostar website) but have had no joy in trying to book seats elsewhere via Eurorail website. We are spending most of our time in Spain (3 weeks), and then traveling via Lyon and Brussels to the Netherlands.
Trying to reserve seats for trains in Spain online is impossible even when it is within 90 days of travel. Do we have to resort to reserving seats a few days before travel at the local train station and therefore try potluck as to availability. How does this work with the organising our trip planner.
From looking at other posts it seems that Spain is a difficult Eurorail destination. All our hotels are prebooked so it is near impossible to change our holiday.
