We have bought 4 interrail passes and would like to travel from Germany via France (Avignon) to Barcelona.
For our train from Avignon to Barcelon (AVI INT 9730; 8:40 - 12:38) a seat reservation is required. But I cannot book this via Interrail. Also I have not found any other possibiliy to book this seat reservation. Can anybody help?

Interrail-Reservierungen für die spanischen AVE zwischen Frankreich und Spanien gibt es nur am Schalter in Spanien. Bringt in diese Richtung also nichts.
Man kann es am Zug beim Schaffner versuchen. Ist natürlich nicht risikofrei und ab Avignon mit kurzem Halt stressig...
Alternative wäre später nach Nîmes zu fahren und ab dort den TGV zu nehmen.
You can check how many seats are left on renfe.com (deep in the booking process).
Staff are used to sell these reservations but on busy weekends it might not work of course.
If it doesn't, you can follow this fully reservation-free route :
- TER Avignon TGV - Avignon-Centre 09:12 - 09:17
- TER Avignon-Centre - Portbou 09:33 - 13:46
- R Portbou - Barcelona-Sants 14:35 - 17:10
Obviously longer but you know you won't be stuck in Avignon!
