Seat Reservation for TGV in July

Hi,

I am not sure, I am looking for seat reservation for 7 July from NIce to Paris for the train departing at 7:59 from Nice.

Rail Europe does not show any train for this day yet, but Euro Rail shows the train but all seat reservations are sold out. Why is this that Euro Rail says sold out and Rail Europe has no trains at all for this day? Is this because the seat reservations are not open yet, or really sold out?

Regards,

Horst

Eurail doesn't day it's sold out, it says "No price results were found.” There are multiple possible causes for this, and in this case reservations have not been opened yet. They should open on 12/3.

SNCF (French railways) often don't show any trains when reservations aren't open yet and Rail Europe use a direct connection to SNCF so they show the same, while at the same time SNCF have already shared timetables with the European Timetable Centre, which is where most planners (including Eurail) get their timetables from.

Anyway, Rail Europe is the best place to book French reservations, but you'll have to wait for a bit.
