Hi, Shawn T. here-First time travelling in UK. I have a Global 7 days in a month Eurail Pass, it is activated and I have added a trip to it.
I was able to buy a seat reservation from London Paddington to Oxford July 8 on apcrail.com(because it wasn’t available from Eurail.com also, this reservation maybe isn’t actually required) So, I have a journey in My Trip, but no actual ticket in the Rail Planner app, so am I good to go? Do I just show the inspector my Journey?
Seems like I’m missing something here….
Thanks for your help!

Reservations aren’t compulsory in the UK (except night trains and Eurostar) so the ticket inspector doesn’t need to see it. The only person you need to show it to is if another passenger is sitting in your seat!
Make sure the journey is listed in My Trip, and toggled on before you board that’s what generates the ticket and QR code to show the inspector
It’s a shame you bought it through ACP rail. If you have any other reservations you want in the UK, you can get them for free from a ticket office in the UK, or through the GWR website.

Thanks so much, I forgot about toggling the journeys on!
Don't activate your Pass and Journeys before the actual travel day. You can only deactivate the Pass until midnight the day before the validity starts and Journeys can only be deactivated until midnight the day before the travel.
@Eurail Community Moderator Can ACP Rail please be removed from the Rail Planner app, and GWR be added?
Thanks for the suggestion @rvdborgt ! We already put it in our backlog to be escalated.

Any progress? People are still paying for free reservations, and sometimes they don't even get a specific seat for their money. ACP should be removed ASAP.
At the moment, the ACP Rail booking option is still being shown because there are currently limited alternatives for certain UK train reservations online. The goal is to provide customers with as many available booking options as possible while improvements are being worked on behind the scenes.
That said, the concerns raised are understandable, and this topic is currently under internal review. While we cannot yet provide a confirmed timeline for changes, the feedback is being taken and is being pushed forward.

We'v asked multiple times in the past for the GWR website to be added. That never happened, despite the stated goal.
Now that the GWR website doesn't do reservations anymore, however, the TPE website should be added.
Also, if the goal is to provide as many booking options as possible, then why is Rail Europe still missing in the app? They've been missing for about 2.5 years now.
So… either the stated goal to provide as many booking options as possible is quite recent, or it doesn't have priority.
Thanks for the feedback and for pointing this out.
You are correct that the GWR option was removed after their reservation flow was no longer applicable. TransPennine Express is already included as an alternative booking option on our website, although we understand it may not always be easy to find.
Regarding Rail Europe, thank you as well for flagging this. We’ve passed this feedback on internally, as we are continuously reviewing and updating the booking options shown in the app and on our websites.
