seat reservation in England

I would like to take a train from Edinburgh to London and under "reserve seats" on the Interrail website it says that the seat must be reserved for €6 but must be reserved from an external site. If I go to the LNER or GWR website, I can reserve a seat for free, but not on ACP Rail. What is the right option to securely reserve the seat?

Don't pay for a seat reservation in the UK. They are free, so use LNER or GWR to make your reservations.
