We’re trying to book Split to Zagreb train via Interrail website, but get the error message:

No price results were found. Pass holder seats may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable.

please help advise how I go about getting these tickets/reservations using global Interrail passes.

thank you

I think you can get these by emailing Croatian Railways on rezervacije@hzpp.hr

Thank you. That helps, but how do I actually book the train via Interrail? The site won’t let me continue with the booking (as seat reservations are not available)

sorry if I’m missing something. This is my first time usin* Interrail

You make the reservation by email. (I admit I’ve never tried this method, but I assume you then collect and pay at the station).

You don’t need to book anything with Interrail. Just add the train to Rail Planner App - this is you ticket. You use that + the reservation from HŽPP.

Where you book your reservations doesn’t matter. You just need to activate an interrail travel day (=your ticket) and buy supplementary reservations separately where necessary.

You actually pay in advance with a SEPA bank transfer (should work from the UK) and then they send you a scan of the paper reservation.

Thank you all. Got it sorted eventually. Seems I also needed to activate our passes, but the email worked immediately for reservations. Thanks again

Some operators want that but it's nonsense, since you can (and should) cancel the activation until the day you start your trip.
