Seat Reservation on TER trains Beauvais - Gare du Nord required?

Hi,

I'm starting my interrail trip in Paris and I fly into Beauvais. My first train will be from the Beauvais train station to Gare du Nord on a TER train. I assumed this service did not need a seat reservation. However, I've seen some stuff lately that said TER trains going to/from Paris need seat reservations. I was just wondering if anybody has done this trip in the past and has any tips for me before I depart.

Thanks,

Jack.

No-it is NOT needed for this line-its just a suburban line-also note that the local fare will be a lot lower as using a pasday (unless you travel on same day)

The RES for TER trains is ONLY for the NOMAD trains from Paris to Rouen-le havre, Cherbourg-Caen and Granville and only weekends-can be done at SNCF machines and cost there 1,50.
