Hello, i would like to ask if we can travel from serbia (belgrade) to greece (thessaloniki) using the train that departs at 18:21 and arrives at thessaloniki at 10:08 without using 2 travel days but rather one, is that possible?

We are from greece and it is going to be our last train for getting home!

Hi there is currently no international trains from Serbia to Greece. And on top no international trains at all to/from Greece. Where did you see this timetable?

The train to skopje and then belgrade (and the other way around) works from june to august. From greece there are international trains, they arent on whatever youre checking because they move you to sofia with a bus and then you go to bucharest/belgrade.

There are no trains between Greece and North Macedonia, Bulgaria or Türkie.

Yes there are busses, but for my information not included in the pass.

For the day rule, if you change trains after midnight you need to use a new day.

Hi,

This is wrong. There are no international relations between Greece and the rest of the world due to “covid”…

As explained on this page https://www.hellenictrain.gr/en/international-railway-services

“All the international itineraries  are suspended until further notice:

Thessaloniki-Sofia-Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki-Skopje-Beograd, Thessaloniki-Sofia-Bucuresti”

Unfortunately your only option is a bus or a ferry + train from the arrival port. These are not covered by interrail/eurail.

That was true before Covid but since then all International Routes are suspended. And till yet i got no notice that Hellenic Trains reinstate their International Serivces.
