sncf seat reservation, paper pass number required

I’m trying to book reservations online for myself and a group of friends, for some train journeys within france. But when i get to the checkout it asks for me to provide paper pass numbers, when we have digital passes. Is there a way I can reserve these seats online without having to go to a french train station as I’m not in Europe until next week?

The best option is actually to book by phone via SNCF. Press #85 for English, no pass cover number needed, no booking fees (Interrail charges an extra 2€ per person and train), reservations are sent via e-mail.

We also have Mobile Passes.

To book the B-europe trains, we emailed Eurail, detailing our Order number and our Pass numbers. The email address we used was this one below in yellow.

We asked for a Pass Cover number which they emailed back to us the next day.

The Pass Cover number worked and we could reserve our seats for trains in September and early October.

All the best for your journey.
