Some basic questions

Hi, we're trying to book reservations from London to Rome in August. It doesn't seem possible yet to book Paris-Milan or Paris-Turin, so what will we do if we book Eurostar but then can't travel on without having to visit every town in Switzerland? Also, how do we make reservations for different days, eg travel to Turin on the 2nd then to Rome on the 3rd? Finally, what does activating the pass mean, do we only do that just before we travel? We have tried hard to work out these things on the app and website, but just can't find the answers. Thanks!

Paris to Turin/Milan reservations are already available. Book through raileurope.com and indicate you have a pass before starting the search (under "add a pass"). Book the next reservation to Rome separately. Shortly before travel, also add these trips to your interrail pass (which is needed in combination with your seat reservation).
