Hey just a heads up for anyone traveling in the south bohemia trains in Czech, there's only busses ran as rail replacements and I've been kicked off two without any reason other than 'no' after showing my interail ticket.

Rail station staff and co-ordinators assure me it's valid but bus staff refuse to allow entry. I have no explanation other than miss communication. It's probably a mess you want to avoid until the rail is fixed.

Please report the refused entry to rail replacement buses to customer support:

https://eurail.zendesk.com/hc/en-001/requests/new

Include details such as date, time, location, route of the bus etc. so they can take this up with Czech railways.

You can additionally complain to Czech railways themselves:

Not really looking to complain or make a report just letting people know of the potential issue. No interest in potentially getting someone fired.

And to clarify i was told no by a ticket inspector so I left, got a co-ordinator and she asked the driver in Czech both gave no response. I missed this bus obviously and waited for the next where I was also refused entry.

The operator on that line, GW Train Regio, is listed as not valid for passes. Other users have reported passes not being accepted on trains on this line.

I could be wrong but as far as I know it was the IC 533 train https://czech-transport.com/index.php?train=7716&lang=en

The interail app seems to say it's valid and I've had no issue with IC trains in Czech before. The second bus may have been the Regio replacement though.

From tabor i was told to go to budejovice then get the connection to krumov. I hate buses to i was just following instructions from other people.

That is the only daily train on the line from budejovice to krumov that isn’t GW Train Regio but Ceske Drahy which would be valid, possibly they have left the bus replacement completely to the local operator.

Still it is rotten service, especially difficult for users as the non-validity on GW is not shown in the interrail planner timetable, just the country notes.

If you don't send them your complaint, then it's sure nothing will change. If someone isn’t doing their job, then then you every reason to complain. If the issue is that CD decided they didn't need to have a bus replacement for their IC then you also let them know, so they are aware that their decision inconvenienced people.
