Hello Rail Community

I plan to take the 09:23 train from Stuttgart to Brussels Midi with  transfer at Frankfurt on 29 October.  I plan to skip anything Paris altogether….

I already booked the Eurostar from Brussels to London 15:51 to 17:00

Is the 6 minute transfer at Frankfurt very short?  Should I rather plan another route or different times?

Thank you!

A third of long distance trains in Germany are delayed, but it is impossible to predict the future. I would leave Stuttgart at 08:05 and change in Frankfurt Hbf.

Thank you that sounds better indeed

So I will probably take to Stuttgart Hbf to Frankfurt Main Hbf 8;05 to 09:40  and then Frankfurt Main Hbf to Brussels Midi 10:25 to 13:35

Hopefully enough to keep me occupied at Brussels Midi for 2 hrs…

Reservations recommended in your opinion?

Thanks!

That looks safer! I wouldn't book seats on an October weekday but then it's only 5.90€ for peace of mind. :)

You will be occupied  with the checkin… and the duty free shop, don’t forget the Belgian chocolate, sorry the Swiss chocolate, yes, you can find Swiss chocolate in Brussels Midi.
