Hi, if I miss a connection & travel on next available train the same day do I/can I update my Global Pass with new train timings? No seat reservation involved. Thanks

Yes you must have the correct train logged at the time of boarding. Trains can be deleted/added on your list at any time.
Don't forget to claim compensation: 12€ for 1h delay at your final destination, 24€ for 2 hours and more.
