Ive booked a ticket from Amsterdam Centraal to Berlin Hauptbahnhof, with one stop on the way in Berlin Spandau. I have booked the ticket but in the confirmation email it only shows the ticket from Amsterdam Centraal to Berlin Spandau. There is nowhere on the ticket that shows Berlin Hauptbahnhof. Is this correct? And will my ticket be valid to reach Hauptbahnhof from Spandau?

This looks to be from a third party website rather than Deutsche Bahn. In the meantime timetable has been modified due to engineering works in both Netherlands and Germany.

Your itinerary should look like this:

- Sprinter Amsterdam Centraal - Amersfoort Centraal 07:10 - 07:58 / 07:41 - 08:28 or

- IC Amsterdam Zuid - Amersfoort Centraal 07:46 - 08:18

- IC143 Amersfoort Centraal - Berlin Gesundbrunnen 08:36 - 15:00

- tram, train, metro to the center, etc.

@Darragh Brennan

I suppose that it is only a seat reservation, but not a ticket. You must also define and activate the journeys in the Rail Planner App to obtain a valid ticket. If you change in Spandau, add also the connecting train to Berlin Hbf in the app.

Another problem. I don’t find this train on June 29. I think that it will be cancelled. You should check again the timetable on bahn.de.

You could also travel via Köln Hbf, it takes more time but trains are more comfortable and you must change only once, for example:

Amsterdam Centraal - Köln Hbf 07:46 - 11:03

Köln Hbf - Berlin Hbf 11:45 - 16:14

Please note that reservations are mandatory in summer between the Netherlands and Germany. You should make a new one, I suggest on Bahn.de, and ask for a refund of the old one.
