Hi Dennis, the timetables are set. But not for all trains. But you may find a connection and it’s possible to check what’s normally available with a date in nearer future.
Do you want to buy an interrail pass or do you want to buy normal tickets? Because this community is mainly for railpass user and then the railpass is your ticket. Do you mean seat reservations? Or do you really want to book normal tickets?
If you are planning to travel from Stockholm to Hamburg by night train you can make the reservation already now with Snälltåget, but you need your interrail pass number to make the reservation.

SJs tickets are right now only possible to buy until the 12th of March. No one knows when the tickets after the 12th of March will be released.
Timetables for the Paris-Barcelona services are already available on sncf-connect.com, but I think the compulsory reservations on that train are not yet bookable. That only starts about 4 months in advance.
The timetables within Spain for the direct Barcelona-Alicante trains are not yet available, and it's pretty unpredictable when they will be published. You can however rely upon the fact that there will be trains on that route, unless engineering works are taking place (in which case an alternative will be proposed). If you want to get an indication of the timetables, check on a date in the near future (on renfe.com or bahn.de for instance).
If engineering works do occur on that line (they are working on upgrades) going via Madrid (all high speed line) might be an alternative, but if travel planners give you that now be aware it's because the timetables on those routes are generally available earlier given that Renfe there faces competition (and the competitors release the timetables early too)
Currently there are 6 or 7 direct trains a day from Barcelona to Alicante and Renfe will certainly keep a similar timetable in the future. Inaddition you can travel via Madrid by AVE (Higher reservation fees and about 1.5 hours longer.
Check out advice on getting reservations in Spain - well documented in the community.
For global plannng-how long to sit in that toget, where to change if needed, simply use a samedayofweek next week-Par-Bcn will have more trains in summer. In ES times hardly ever change-the prob there is more to make that always needed RES with your pass-can effectively only be done when there at a counter. (those things that SJ has completely withdrawn…….
