Why after the date 23th of november 2025, we need to go first to Perpignan and change train when you want to go from Barcelona to Figueres? Before the 24th of November it is possible to go directly from Barcelona to Figueres Vilafant. Strange isn't it?

You didn't say where you were looking for timetables. Always verify timetables with the operator, in this case renfe.com.
On 24/11 and later, there are also direct trains to Figueres-Vilafant (with reservation) and Figueres (no reservations). However, it looks like Renfe have not yet shared the timetables with the rest of world.
Reservations for some of these trains can be made on raileurope.com. For the cheaper (€4) Avant trains from 24/11, however, booking reservations is currently only possible at the Renfe ticket office.
