Hello,

I have bought a train reservation from Stuttgart to Paris. The ticket says:

Valid Eurail Pass or InterRail Pass must be presented. Ticket can be exchanged or
refunded free of charge before departure. From 30 minutes prior to departure,
tickets can be exchanged up to two times (for the same day and the same journey),
and are non-refundable after the first exchang

The question is now how can I proceed with the reimbursement (or change) of the ticket?

Thank you!

Where did you buy the reservation?

On interrail.eu

Exchange and refund conditions are here:

https://www.interrail.eu/en/interrail-passes/ordering-info/refund-exchange-policy/exchange-and-refund-conditions-for-reservations

However, for France, I don't see anything about exchanges. @Camilo., will that page also be updated to include how to do an exchange?

In any case, the best is probably to ask customer support here:

https://eurail.zendesk.com/hc/en-001/requests/new

Refunds can normally be requested from the Reservations overview but will often cost more than doing an exchange.

Hi @rvdborgt and @eurotiger1972

Most reservations are not exchangeable but there are a few exceptions:

- Frecce services which a customer can exchange once free of charge via their account. Our customers  can exchange the date/time too via pico
- Eurostar: former Thalys routes (now Eurostar continental) can be exchanged once free of charge via us but also via the Eurostar manage booking page. Eurostar London routes are exchangeable at a fee via the Eurostar manage booking page
- Certain TGVs can be exchanged once free of charge via customer service

The website will be updated. Thank you!
