Travelling from Milan to Nice, Paris. What is the cheapest and shortest train route.
The Eurorail requires to buy a global pass. But I will most likely take this train trip only once.
What is my best option. Also please provide the website link with your recommendation.

If that is the only train journey you'll do, for sure buy regular tickets. Here is what I've written recently :
"Trains will be easy and cheap, especially when booked in advance. It takes 5 hours (4h30 by car without traffic).
Departures from Nice : 07:50/09:50/13:50/15:50/17:50
- TER Nice - Ventimiglia
- IC Ventimiglia - Milano Centrale
Prices would be (advance tickets) :
- 8,70€ TER Nice - Ventimiglia (sncf-connect.com) valid all day on any train
- 16,90€ IC Ventimiglia - Milano Centrale (trenitalia.com) tied to a specific connection (more expensive otherwise)
OR
- 35,60€ Nice - Milano (sncf-connect.com)"

For Nice - Paris via sncf-connect.com : the fastest high-speed trains (TGV) take about 6h.
EDIT Let me know your travel dates and I can have a look. Sometimes it might be cheaper to buy a 1-day France Eurail Pass for 88$ + 10-20€ seat reservations (or 112$ 1st class).
Then either
- Milano Centrale - Ventimiglia 15:10 - 17:54 47€ for 2 adults
- Ventimiglia - Nice 18:16 - 19:11 8.70€ per adult
