I will travel with a friend in Portugal in June and we want to book trains. We know that seats reservations must be reserved in Portugal but can we book just tickets for the train without seats before, in a french train station ?

It is not possible to book Portuguese trains anywhere outside Portugal. You have to go to a staffed ticket office in Portugal.
But it shouldn’t be a problem to get a seat reservation a few days before. Trains usually doesn’t sell out quickly and staff is very helpful.

If you travel with Interrail you already have your ticket, so there's no need to buy a ticket in France.
