Transfer time between Eurail trains in Brussels (destination: London)

If I board at Bruges on way to Brussels on Eurail, transferring in Brussels to Eurail train to London, is 36 min enough time? Note says to allow 45-90 minutes to check passports, etc.

It’s too tight. Quite regularly you have a five minute delay when entering Brussels, especially in rush hours. So you have quite a big chance not getting through the Eurostar gates in time.

Every hour there are trains in Bruges to Brussels at xxh11, xxh30 and xxh58, every train taking an hour to get to Brussels. Take one or two trains earlier to be on time and have a comfortable, stressless change.

Minimum time at the entry gates to the Eurostar UK boarding area is 30 min before departure, a train arriving at Brussels Midi 36 min before departure is way too tight.
