Travel to Poland

At this moment we are staying in Slovakia but we are planning to go to Krakow. It is not possible to book a seat online, so we will have to do that in Ostrava (that’s where we will start the trip to Poland). However, we are afraid the train will be fully booked by that time.. Has anyone travelled to Krakow recently and can tell us how busy the trains were?

So WHERE=Kam are you now-just SK is not overly helpful. You can try-to quell these enormous fears, at any ZSR/SK station/nadrazi with INtern ticketing. Just a short hopover border will hardly create problems-in general. Plus there are a very few remianing local trains-change again n PL, but pass not valid on KS=Slaskie trains.

From the Tatra/Poprad there is a nice route to Krakowa via small train-bus to border-minibus to Zakopane and then bus or a few trains-do not bother with passdays here-just pay.

Someone recently confirmed there are summertime also now again a few through buses

It may be possible to book a seat online on cd.cz or zssk.sk. For more detailed advice, please specify route, date and departure time of trains you want to book.

Thank you! cd.cz worked :)
