Me and my friend have bought the 2 month continuous pass on separate devices to use in May/June next year. We aren’t sure how to book seat reservations so that we’ll sit together since they’re on separate devices.
Also, we heard booking the Eurostar as soon as possible is best. But we don’t know how to book the Eurostar with the interrail pass or how to add it to our trips. I saw people say you add the train to your trips after you’ve bought the reservation and use the swipe button to confirm the train on your trips after you’ve. But I can’t see that on my app, so can you only do this when it’s activated? And if so, how can you book the Eurostar in advance since we won’t activate it until May 1st.
Hope that makes sense, any advice would be amazing 😊 thank you x

The pass is separate from reservations. It doesn't matter if passes are on separate devices or not. If you want to sit together, then always book seats in 1 transaction. You can book reservations without activating a pass and without saving a train to your trip. Saving a journey to your pass is only possible after activating your pass, but it's best not to activate your pass (or any travel days) in advance.
You may want to start with this general introduction:
The best place to book Eurostar pass reservations is on raileurope.com (as Seat61 explains), and on that website always set currency to euro to avoid their 5% mark-up for other currencies.
