Hi,

Trying to book seats for an ICE Amsterdam-Köln on the ÖBB app.

I get the following message:

"Reservation not possible

Sorry, shared accommodation on the ICE 153 from Amsterdam Centraal to Köln Hbf is not possible for the passengers as requested."

i tried to book without table, in a different part of the train. Every time I get this message. Try again, different app, or is the train just full...?

You can try to book at Deutsche Bahn bahn.de or DB Navigator App, where you should be able to select the seats on a seat map. A seat reservation cost more at DB than at ÖBB.
