Travelling as a family in August. Final leg of our trip is Milan to Rome but no trains appearing when I search via the journey planner. Not sure if I’m in the wrong place or if tickets just haven’t been released yet?

These are best reserved on the ÖBB website. Add the Interrail discount where it says Adult, then select ‘One-way and Day tickets’.

It looks like they’re not open for reservation in August yet, but July is open - so I would check in a month. You can get reservations right up until a few minutes before departure. They’re unlikely to be full.
