The station of Renfe Cercanias’s Tres Cantos does not appear automatically in the app so I entered it manually, the app gave me the QR but this QR was not able to get read at the entrance at Madrid-Recoletos station, the attendant at the station told me that Cercanias was not included in Eurail pass but the list shows it as included. Does someone knows what to do?

The pass is valid on Cercanias, but the QR code never works at the ticket gates. I believe Renfe staff were wrong to tell you the pass wasn’t valid. If you had to pay for a ticket, despite having a valid pass, you can contact Eurail for reimbursement.
If you also have a long-distance journey on that day, you can use that QR code on the reservation to get access to Cercanias (“Combinado Cercanias”), which might be easier. But it’s not necessary - your Eurail pass is also valid without a long distance trip.

You can show it to staff, if there are any. Otherwise you have to push the help button at the gates and speak to the controller.
Recoletos had staff present around 10 years ago when I stayed close to it. We would just press the button at the gates, loudly say "Interrail” and they would open the gate. Some of the gates could actually be seen by the staff from their office.
Cercanías are most definitely included but unfortunately some Renfe staff are ignorant about it.
