I have some of my train seat reservations made through OBB even though some of the destinations don’t evolve Austria (i.e., Rome to Milan, Milan to Zurich, Zurich to Munich). I saw many suggestions to use OBB and just saw for myself why it works out to use OBB. But I haven’t questioned if any downsides were using OBB for trains that don’t involve Austria. Should I be aware of anything that I might run into because of this? Or am I okay?
Using OBB for Reservations Outside of Austria
The only downside is that you can't choose your exact seat location most of the time.
But if you already did your reservations and did get them you're ok. Just keep them with you.
