Using only one travel day for night journey with connection

Question

Hello! I’m planning my first Interrail journey. Firstly I want to go from Kutno, Poland (my residence country) to Munich, Germany. I’d like to use this connection:

IC 5420 Hutnik from Kutno (18:50) to Czechowice-Dziedzice (23:23)

IC 407 Chopin from Czechowice-Dziedzice (00:07) to Munich (10:24)

If I will add in app that I virtually “entered” the Chopin train in Oświęcim (23:45), one station earlier, would it count that I used only one travel day (outbound from my residence country)? Or the train staff will see that this change is not possible and will give me a fine?

Hello ​@mati_siemiUsually the train staff don’t check the journeys, but it could happen, especially if they don’t have a device to scan the QR code. It is possible to delete the first journey before midnight.However, if the train staff see you when you board the train atCzechowice-Dziedzice and see the journey fromOświęcim, they could find that something is not good.
