Ik wil deze zomer van Tirano naar Venetie ik krijg echter te zien dat mijn pas dan niet geldig is. Klopt dit en wat is er eventueel wel mogelijk?

Is WEL geldig (tenzij je dit Tirano=grens plaats Swiss/IT komend vanaf Bernina baan) met Tirana (=capital of Albania) verwisselt. ALB is altijd buiten IR-pas geweest en heeft nu geheel geen vandaliserende treintjes meer.

POint is: the local trains in this regione Lombardia used to be by either state run FS, now TrenItalia and FNM=Trenord and have (due to extremely bad service by FS in the eyes of the province/regione) been merged and run as TreNord. There is-as this is IT it always takes ages before things become clear- now been decided that TreNord will accept passes-certainly on former FS lines (this one is).

INfo is delivered by the railways themselves so now you get some idea why all theseĀ  green ideas about trains saving us leads to situations where noone understands it anymore.

There MAY, perhaps, also be a tiny sector in between stazione to change in Milano (but you do not even have to go via there) that is metro-and then of course you have to buy ticket for that (1,50)


Bij zulke vragen is eigenlijk de precieze dienstregeling nodig, zodat we kunnen zien waar het aan zou kunnen liggen. Zonder dienstregeling is er weinig over te zeggen.
