Hello everyone, I would really appreciate any insight or recommendation on what to do about this error.
I’ve narrowed to when I try to reserve a seat for 1 of my family members, everyone else work perfectly, but every time I try to book for him, the error shows up.

Weird bug. How large is your group?
In any case I'd recommend booking through the railway companies directly whenever possible. See https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm (no fees, sometimes seat map, etc.)

+6If this occurs when trying to book seat reservations, simply opt for booking these elsewhere instead of through the Interrail reservations portal. Check https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm to see where to book depending on your route. This will usually also be slightly cheaper than Interrails booking portal.
It is not a large group, party of 4.
At first I thought that maybe there wasn’t enough seats for 4, so i split the party into 2, when it did allow me to book mother and daughter together, that’s when I realized there should be something fishy with any of the remaining two. Sure enough when doing the reservation for the remaining two individually, thats when i found out it was 1 person (youth pass) the one that is having the problem.
weird… anyway, i will try to book as suggested, directly.

I have managed to reserve for everyone on the party, but 1 person, there should be something glitchy on Eurail's system about the person.
It’s weird, because I already have his 5 day pass paid, but it just won’t allow me to make the seat reservation….
Use Rail Europe to avoid any kind of fess. A seat map is even available (though the system assign seats together anyway).
