Hi,

part of my trip from Avignon to Rome (i.e. Lyon - Milan) is not in the Pass network as the planner suggests. Does this mean I have to buy a separate ticket (with Trenitalia) for this part of my trip?

Hey!

Unfortunately AFAIK the Trenitalia trains on the route Paris-Milano are not covered by Interrail. So yes, in that case you would have to buy a separate ticket or find another route to get to Rome (?). Or check if the SNCF train is running close by to this connection on your route. That would be included.
I suppose you could go from Avignon via Nice and Genova to Rome as well..

Ah ok! Thank you!
