That train can already be booked.
You can book it wherever you like, there's no obligation to book reservation through Eurail. In fact, Eurail should be the last option to use. See this page for pass reservations:

Normally, raileurope.com (desktop website) is the cheapest option since it doesn't have extra booking fees. Unfortunately, it doesn't yet work for Eurostar trains from 15 December, but I suppose that will be fixed soon.
