What's the best way to get from Edinburgh to Gloucester on Saturday 24th September for my family of 6?

I would like to take the train but it proving difficult to book. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance :)

Reservations are optional but may be a good idea for a group of 6. You can make them free of charge via GWR using these steps.
