Hello. I get to Switzerland from Brazil next Wednesday 10 A.M. I intend to take a train to Interlaken, but I don’t know how much time it will take for me to pass immigration and retrieve luggage. Should I reserve seats beforehand? Should I wait?

There is no need to reserve seats on trains in Switzerland, they aren’t necessary.

If you arrive sharp at 10.00am, then you should be easily able to catch the direct Intercity train to Interlaken at 10.45.

immigration is usually efficient and with retrieving your luggage it should take maybe 20, max. 30 mins.

No need to reserve seats in Switzerland. Nobody except some tourists (and bigger groups) does it
