A heatwave spreading across Western and Central Europe could affect rail traffic from Wednesday, 24 June, through the end of this week on Sunday, 28 June, and may spill over into early next week.
We estimate that rail traffic in the following countries could be affected by severe heat conditions over the coming days: France, Great Britain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czechia, Poland and other Central European countries.
If you plan to travel in these countries during this time, please check the planner in the Rail Planner app and the national railway carrier's timetable for the country you're travelling in (see our list of railway carriers included in the Pass sorted by countries across Europe) for up-to-date train times.
