Strike in Italy: 23-24 July

Rail strikes in Italy will impact train travel from 21:00 CET on Thursday, 23 July, to 20:59 CET on Friday, 24 July. Due to the strike, a limited number of trains will be running, and alternative train services will operate in accordance with Trenitalia and Trenord railway staff availability.

We recommend checking the Trenord timetable shortly before departing for your planned journey for up-to-date train times. To find out more about the strike, please read the Trenitalia strike announcement (only in Italian).

    We have booked the train from Firenze to Napoli on the 24 July. It is a long distance train but how doe you know if it is one of the guaranteed trains in Italy? I checked the list but nothing starts with destination Firenze. Anyone suggestions?

    Look for the train number you booked.
