Hello, I’m Planning to take the EC 459 Canopus/EN 40459 from Mannheim HBF to Praha hl.n. I am aware the rule for sleeper trains is that you have to have a pass valid only for the departing date, not the arriving date.
However, if the train scheduled for 23:40 arrival to Mannheim gets delayed and arrives past midnight, am I now unable to board the train?

No, if a train is delayed you can always board the train with the same ticket and reservation. If it is cancelled, ask for assistance, an exchange of the reservation may be necessary (free of charge).
