Which London Attraction Is Overrated and Which Is Underrated?

I'm planning a trip to London and have been researching all the popular attractions, but I'd love to hear some honest opinions from people who have actually visited the city.

In your experience, which London attraction do you think is a bit overrated and not quite worth the hype, time, or money? On the other hand, what place do you think is underrated and deserves more attention from visitors?

I'm interested in hearing about famous landmarks, museums, viewpoints, neighborhoods, markets, parks, or even lesser-known spots that surprised you. Sometimes the places that aren't heavily promoted end up being the most memorable parts of a trip.

I'm trying to prioritize my itinerary and would rather spend my limited time on experiences that are genuinely worthwhile. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and personal recommendations!

You will need to give a little more context for this.  I could write a long thing about why I thought a community sauna I went to in Hackney Wick was brilliant and well worth a visit, but if you come from Finland and have a sauna in your back garden this won’t be any use.

Also, London is big.  Really big.  If you indicate where you plan on staying that will help people provide useful suggestions.

@Jain Norton

On my last trip I visited the Tate Modern and Tate Britain, but that's only worthwhile if you're an art enthusiast. On the other hand, I wouldn't go back to Battersea Power Station; apart from the architecture, there's nothing special about it.
