Any comments on a dress code for 1st class train journeys in Italy.  I will be bringing my 20-22 year old Grandsons, and they probably want to wear shorts, maybe more casual than Bermudas.  I know they will be somewhat out of place, but don’t want to see them asked to get off the train.

There is nothing like a dresscode in the 1st Class. These times on European publictrains is history :)
If they are not naked everything is fine :)

Thanks, as I’m sure you are aware Americans have become slobs when they travel.
