can't unactivate yesterday's finished trip

Yesterday, my wife and I traveled around the Netherlands using day 1 of our passes.  We started and ended at unmanned stations, so simply got on and off the trains.  No conductor ever checked our tickets. I did use my mobile “ticket” a couple times to go out of the station through a turnstyle and then back in.  Tomorrow morning we have planned a trip to travel to Paris.  But when I try to add the appropriate trip to day 2, day 1 trip comes up.  The app will allow me to create new trips, but I cannot add any of them to our passes.

Only one trip can be attached to a pass.

You need to add all additional travel to the same trip, these can then be activated to your pass.

You can only add 1 trip to a pass. All journeys you make with this pass, will need to be registered in this trip.

Oh, what a surprise.  I think of it as four different trips in one month.  But I added tomorrow’s “trip” to yesterday’s “trip” on the app and it saved!  Thank you so much!
