I need to reschedule a travel day but I cannot cancel the original, I have tried everything please help,

It shouldn't matter whether journeys have been added. You should always be able to cancel a future travel day. The way to do that is: go to My Pass, select your pass, select the travel day to cancel. Then a button "Cancel travel day” should appear. You need a good inter et connection to do this.
Please specify where exactly in that process you get stuck. If there's an error message, please post a screenshot.
