I also just discovered a new bug. If I filter on "no reservations " between Paris and Amsterdam, I still get connections with TGVs. There TGVs are marked as limited seats, but not with, mandatory reservation.

All there bugs make travellers very frustrated. What has happened to the Railplanner app? Some months ago it worked really well.

The limited seats information is wrong anyway for these trains. Only Eurostar trains and TGV journeys into Brussels have limited seats for passholder.

Thank you @AnnaB. We have reported this earlier today. We will add your screenshots to the report.

The suburban trains from Napoli to Salerno (via Pompei) have mandatory reservations according to the rail planner app:

This is also the case for the replacement buses that are running this summer, e.g.:

In reality, reservations are not possible, let alone mandatory.

The reservations module has the same problem. This problem was already recognised last year, but still not corrected.

The rail planner app currently shows this night train from Zagreb:

However, you can't board in Zagreb and reservations from Zagreb can't be booked. Please correct ASAP.

Thameslink trains are in the Rail Planner app, but for certain journeys, they don't show up, e.g. from London St Pancras to London Bridge:

If you look from e.g. West Hampstead Thameslink or Farringdon, then you do find a trains:

And the stop in London St Pancras is in the timetable. This looks like a bug to me.

UPDATE:

This issue is a bit tricky to resolve, as we receive two separate data imports in MERITS for this train: one from ÖBB with accurate station details, and another from SZ and HZ, who unfortunately don’t provide the same level of detail. Since this is a MERITS integration issue involving conflicting inputs from different carriers, it’s not something we can fix quickly, but we’re aware of it and will continue to monitor possibilities for improvement.

MÁV offers a direct night train connection between Budapest and Koper/Rijeka during this summer. (https://www.mavcsoport.hu/en/mav-szemelyszallitas/international-travels/istria)

Only the Budapest ↔ Koper connection is shown as direct in the Rail Planner. The carriages that continue to Rijeka run under a different number and therefore Rail Planner shows a train change in the morning, requiring a second travel day.

Hi @rvdborgt. Thank you for reporting this. This has been happening with stations with “London” in the title. The team is aware of it and is working on it.

@Eurail Community Moderator: I think something is wrong with some polish trains in the Railplanner app (and the reservation service!)

  1. I think, reservations are still mandatory for the majority of Intercity trains in Poland. The Railplanner app often says, they are only optional.
  2. It seems like the reservation service rather sells normal tickets than seat reservations:

Hi @eurocity101, we're sorry for the long wait on this! Our IT team has just confirmed that the pricing issue has been fixed. We really appreciate your patience, thanks!

Issue has been solved and the train does not appear any longer in our timetable.

@Eurail Community Moderator The Railplanner app claims that reservations for SJ Intercity trains are optional. Afaik they are still required.

It is the same problem with the IC-trains between Stockholm and Oslo.

Some trains on the Copenhagen - Hamburg route are marked as "reservation mandatory" which is wrong.

Another glitch which appears again and again.
