Què us sembla?

Once you are in Geneva, you can completely rely on the Swiss trains to run on time.

I would 100% recommend the route via Montreux and Zweisimmen to Interlaken (not via Visp and Brig). It’s the Goldenpass line. From Interlaken, you can take a boat (included in your pass) along the lake to Brienz, and then continue by scenic train to Luzern.

  • Lyon - Geneva - Montreux - Interlaken Ost - Luzen
  • or Lyon - Geneva - Montreux - Interlaken Ost - Brienz - Luzen

I would recommend searching timetables on sbb.ch. You don’t need seat reservations, except in the panoramic coach.

Additionally, reservations in Switzerland are not needed and generally a waste of money. They are indeed possible in some trains (usually only in a part of the train), but the Swiss themselves do not book reservations, only a few tourists do.
