I have planned to be in Istanbul around 17/22 august and I have my pass ending the 24th at midnight.
I would like to go back from Istanbul to Lyon in the easiest and fastest way, but it seems interrail app can’t help me on such a trip in one-time request.
Do you have any advices suggestions ideas on how can I plan that trip back home, and how long should i expect to do ?

It might just be possible if & when the new Eurocity starts running between Belgrade and Budapest/ Vienna.
22nd overnight Istanbul to Sofia, arrive 1055
23rd bus to Belgrade (4h), then train to Vienna
24th Vienna to Lyon
