Please as advice if getting a 7 day GP can be used to on eurostar

I want to travel from London to France & Italy.

Is a 7day pass going to be helpful.

I want to travel to many cities in Italy but do not want to get  ocp as it doesn't cover all trains.

From what I am reading reserving seats & using the pass seems very complicated

What's the best or recommended train to travel

Hi @Pium

Thank you for your interest on using our Pass. Yes, the 7-day Eurail Global Pass does work on the Eurostar, you’ll just need to book and pay for a seat reservation. It can be really handy if you’re planning longer journeys, like the one you describe with stops in multiple cities. Just keep in mind that in Italy many trains need reservations, except the regional ones.

I suggest to read this reservations guide, you will find a lot of information:

Eurostar also have a booking site called Snap where you can book short notice one way tickets for cheaper prices (£25-45, typically) as well as a £35 sale regularly.
