+8No. You should never have to pay for a new reservation, if it’s the fault of the train company. Ask train or station staff to give you a new reservation.

If the next available train doesn’t require a seat reservation, you can simply add the new route to your travel day and activate the QR code on your app before boarding. If you had a mandatory seat reservation for the missed train, and the next train also requires a seat reservation, please ask the train staff or the station information point whether you can still use it for the next available train.
