Hi,

we´re travelling tomorrow Lyon-Arles and I´d like to check if the Interrail pass is accepted again? I just found the tweet saying so but don´t know how official it is, i.e. if I can show this to the ticket inspector in case they say No, you need to get a ticket.

Well-if you really have to go there, there is simply NO ALternative.

But besides the link to tweet i´ve seen several other news-sources/forums and all tell it was revoked after a week of banning passes-which mostly was done by telling those pax ´to buy ticket next time´.

In general ticket checks are quire rare over there-perhaps an other form of the multitude of strikes they like do so very much there

Thanks for your answer.

We went today and no problem on both the trains (Lyon - Avignon Centre and Avignon Centre - Arles), surprisingly, they checked the tickets on both the trains. Both were quite full (TER trains).

Do you know if the pass is valid between Marseille, Nice, Monte Carlo, Cannes etc.?

yes valid

The Sud PACA region in France revoked their decision and Interrail/Eurail passes are valid again on all regional TER trains.
