I am traveling from Istanbul to Bucharest on the night sleeper. I change train in Dimtrovgrad at 4.17 am . Are there any cafes/restaurants
open in the station or near it at that time?

No, when I’ve been there I didn’t see any open cafes nearby, but the station hall is open and you can sit there. Even free wifi if I remember right. Ticket office was also working (2020).
